Professor - Transport for Smart Cities @ University of Melbourne
Majid Sarvi is the chair in transport engineering and the professor in transport engineering for smart cities at the Department of Infrastructure engineering, University of Melbourne. He has over 22 years of professional, academic and research experience in the areas of traffic and transport engineering.
His fields of research include large-scale multimodal transport network modelling, vulnerability and optimisation, crowd dynamic modelling and simulation, as well as application of the Internet of Things and ICT in transport engineering. Majid has been the author/co-author of over 270 refereed publications in highly regarded journals, conferences and proceedings.
